LEVELS OF COMPANY CERTIFICATION

Companies that achieve required points will be awarded the appropriate level of SAW
Certification. A total of 100 points have been defined and four levels of achievement are possible.

• SAW BASIC–awarded to companies achieving 30-50 points

  • companies are operating at beginning levels,have some sustainable practicesand are developing plans and policies for improvement.

• SAW SILVER–awarded to companies achieving 50+ to 75 points

  • companies are operating at higher levels of sustainability and areactively underway with their plans.

• SAW GOLD–awarded to companies achieving 75+to90points

  • companies are operating at higher levels of sustainability and areactively underway with their plans.

• SAW PLATINUM–awarded to companies achieving 90+ points

  • companies are exemplary in their practices, have developed sustainability policies covering most areas of the SAW program and have demonstrated progress in achieving company goals.
